I love that word.
I'd like to do it more often.
When I DO procrastinate, I normally watch a movie. The latest three I'd recommend are, in no particular order, Dredd, Solomon Kane and This is Forty. All for very different reasons. Once a week on the average I get together with some friends for dinner. That normally happens on Wednesdays, but this week I'm working the day job.
I'm finishing a short story tomorrow (after work).
Day after, I'm working on a novella that's past due. Might take two days.
After that, I'm starting a novel due on June First. Target is 85,000 plus words.
I'm posting this early, because I just finished the night shift at the day job, and I have to be back there at 6:30 AM for an eight hour shift.
Procrastination. What a lovely concept.
Here, take a peek at my latest book cover. It's what I do when I have a couple of minutes, but not quite enough time to procrastinate. Should you decided you can't live without it, you can find the pre-order site for the limited edition of this beauty right here. (See? Work-Whore. It's what I do.)

Procrastination
I write fiction, a little of everything and a lot of horror. I've written novels, comic books, roleplaying game supplements, short stories, novellas and oodles of essays on whatever strikes my fancy. That might change depending on my mood and the publishing industry. Things are getting stranger and stranger in the wonderful world of publishing and that means I get to have fun sorting through the chaos (with all the other writer-types). I have a website. This isn't it. This is where you can likely expect me to talk about upcoming projects and occasionally expect a rant or two. Not too many rants. Those take a lot of energy. In addition to writing I work as a barista, because I still haven't decided to quit my day job. Opinions are always welcome.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever heard of anyone needing to be able to procrastinate more than you. And here I thought I was busy! Ha!
