That would be a good rejection. =o)<br /><br />I'm back in the query pool again with a suspense I gave up on (but that a published friend said I needed to try sending out again). So, one of the first rejections I got totally ticked me off but it did poke me in the butt to revise my query letter. I figured if that was what the guy took away from the letter, it definitely wasn't showing my book in the best light. No telling how the new version is being received, but no one's rejected it yet off this new version, so there's hope. =o)B.E. The agent I ended up with, Elaine Spencer, was one of those. <br /><br />These days, I'm getting rejections from editors instead :-) [BAH] And they are still mostly what I would consider good rejections--they say "not quite right for me" but also mention strong voice, good writing, etc. All those letters tell me that I just need the right person to read the manuscript, and then it will be a yes, instead.Deborah Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04032614187237072683noreply@blogger.com
