I'm interested in seeing how (if) Amazon improves GoodReads post-acquisition. With 20 million GR users, that's a heck of an audience to reach and a lot of eager authors trying to grab their attention.

Love the leverage of a library's share-self. It reminds me of those on-the-beach take-one leave-one set-ups. K.A. I am a reviewer and I know what you mean about preaching to the choir. The key is getting a review onto Goodreads and amazon type of places then get the title of your book out in the world. when I see/hear about a book I immediately go google it (and probably most people do to) what I find will has a big impact on whether or not I try it.

Instead of dropping books all over a city, try dropping a few at local libraries. Most have "share" shelves where you can pick up or drop off books for others to grab for free (or sometimes a small fee like $.50) have a note inside that asks the reader to return the book to the library share shelf when done.Sharon Stognerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12732141088637958862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663321286319002443.post-33056534989695284332013-08-07T08:33:02.484-04:002013-08-07T08:33:02.484-04:00Amazing how that first bit is so critical, eh?
