Do I Even Have SubPlots???

This week's topic is apparently how we keep all the plates spinning in the air and manage the multitudinous subplots in our presumably densely-plotted novels.

Um ok.

As we all know, I'm a seat of the pants person and don't really do much plot development ahead of time. I jump into the story and we're OFF. One guy, one gal, some allies maybe, a few Egyptian gods if this is one of my books set along the Nile, aliens if it's one of my science fiction... trying to defeat the bad guy or survive the disaster...no complex subplots. Always an HEA though!

Therefore, I'll now distract you with the highly impressive feats of the Chinese plate spinners whilst I sneak out the side door!
