RT 2011 - Word Whores Mile High Club

by KAK

Whilst my fellow whores Jeffe, Allison, and Marcella are in transit to the Romantic Times 2011 Book Lovers Convention, I am having fun picturing their coy smiles and fluttering lashes as they try to explain to the TSA why, oh why, certain items have appeared in their luggage and/or shown up on the full-body scans.

  1. Collapsible Zombie Bellhop
  2. Dozen vials of fairie dust
  3. Clock-work Wings w/ extra lube
  4. Dual-Tipped Sharpie/Pixie Sticks
  5. Spare set of Vampire Grillz

Please join me in a game of speculation of oddly plausible things our intrepid Word Whores are packing. Extra (worthless) points if it involves something from one of their books!

  4. Jeffe, did you go shopping at vampirefangs.com?

Linda, do you think Phin traveled in a pet-carrier or did he dirty-talk his way through the TSA pat-down?

Laura, what with the airlines no longer serving snacks, canned unicorn smeat is a must-have to be guarded by the Chtulhu.

  5. Phin is obviously curled up in Allison's underwear. Jeffe may have brought along a few items to illustrate the activities in Sapphire. Ahem. Even the TSA folks may be blushing.

  6. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that particular security check point. I can't imagine what they'd have in their bags, but explaining anything to the TSA guys has got to be interesting. LOL

  7. Heh. Well I *did* end up going through one of those new funky security machines at the airport. AND I got a patdown on top of it. Bleah.

    No unicorns found, however. ;-)
